pcc and mp3 files
« on: April 15, 2011, 08:16:52 PM »

Hey T

I noticed that pcc will play mp3 files I was wondering if I can activate those with either smart macros or add another trigger in pcc so a playlist could be accessed  via x 10 address.

I have no clue how to do this but its a lot of fun trying.

PCC doesn't support playlists yet! I just never got to adding that option.
You can play MP3 files a couple of ways from a smartmacro.
if the MP3 is in the sounds folder of PCC then your smart macro would be:
PCC path as the command and then argument would be filename.MP3 0
you could create a user command and point pcc to the files location
The smartmacro would be :
PCC Path as the command and the argument would be [Usercommandname]
I believe the steps for creating a User command are outlined in the PCC commandline options thread
