What is Ultralight?
« on: December 28, 2014, 11:47:42 AM »

Answer:
Ultralight  is a web server (Remote Control) that interfaces with a PC running PC Companion (works with the trial version too).
Any device with a browser should be able to access it.
This currently sends task requests to PCC, even if PCC isn't running.
It will receive back a confirmation that the task request has been completed.

Tasks currently possible to be requested are any X10 command or PCC user command currently available via command line requests.
Ultra light will read a text file PCC creates on the Task being completed.
This makes Ultra light capable of displaying a confirmation as well as info Like reminders, Weather reports, weather Alerts, a list of Phone callers received that day and much more.
