Hi all, nice to be here. I picked up an Amazon Echo and a Broadlink RM Pro in the last week. Unfortunately we don't have the Broadlink skills available to Alexa in UK so I need to find a working solution. I tried the Broadlink RM Plugin but that doesn't work with the current version of the Echo so still looking for my solution :) Anyway, hello all.

Welcome aboard skel28.
You might wish to check out the RM Bridge (it may work in the UK).
That with the HA-Bridge might be the answer.  (Chr)

Hello everyone
I am new to this forum that I discovered when "Amazon Echo" arrived in France. My first use was to interface Alexa with my X10 network via Alex10.
I will take advantage of all the experiences and expertise present on this forum to enrich my skills.
Have a nice day
Daniel

Welcome aboard odmu5322!
Alexa has revived a lot of users X10 setup and caused many to dust off old modules they had boxed up and filed away several years ago.
Voice assistance has also driven may into the Pi world as they can create a Google mini or Alexa dot from these or just use them for X10 software giving the voice assistance even more power.

Hello World
Good to find that X10 is still kicking in the world of Alexa and Google.
A shout to the Mod for keeping X10 alive and to the Peps who won't let it just fade away!
Cheers!

Welcome aboard BGobbler.
Many say X10 is fading popularity however I believe it is making a come back.
Several users boxed up their X10 gear and moved on to other protocols thinking the grass was greener only to find out it wasn't.
If they had spent the same time and money on X10 reliability as the other devices they would have a truly dependable setup. There are several long time X10 users that refuse to let go.
I'm just one of them. (RoFL)
