HG and Google Home
« on: April 21, 2019, 08:34:00 AM »

I was able to control via SmartThings prior which is a pain for any newbie.
However there is away to get Google Home talking with HomeGenie now that is a bit less work. it is still in the testing phase but anyone with HG can get in on the testing.
This took me a bit to get working here but I believe it was more my phone then anything else.
for those wishing to get Google home integrated and working with HG you'll currently need to become a tester and install this HG program in device and things. you'll need a Google email account as well.
To become a tester see this thread: https://homegenie.club/t/google-home-plugin/447

I have some smart led lights that work w Google home and Alexa, but I do not yet have configured in HG.

Is that what this would be used for?
